Moon Bat
Species: Moon Bat
Habitat: Caves, and large trees
Size: Largest reported sighting is 1ft in height.
Diet: Very little is know about the eating habits of the Moon Bat. There have been reports of livestock with one fang hole appearing mysteriously the night after a full moon. Some humans have claimed they were attacked by a Moon Bat but no fatalities have ever been reported.
You only have to watch for moon bats on a night after a full moon. When they flap their wings you can see star like patterns which cause their prey to fall into a trance allowing the bats to descend on you.
Observing a Moon Bat from a safe distance is quite remarkable. The wings seem to leave a glittery trail of "stars" as they fly. To avoid falling prey to the bat's trance inducing wings, glasses of any kind can be worn thus easily fending off the bat.
